3 Wheeled Buggies
A 3-wheel buggy is great for off-road jogging and dealing with terrain from bumpy pavements to woodland tracks. They are also more easy to maneuver up and down kerbs than 4-wheel models.
Kath who is the editor of MadeForMums' reviews, tested one of these 3-wheelers on tarmac and on a variety of terrains. Read her review here.
Stability
With four wheels and a central point of gravity that is balanced by the weight of your child's seat, buggies with four wheels are generally considered to be more stable than 3-wheelers. But that doesn't mean an older model with three wheels isn't worth considering, as the majority of them are built to cope with anything from rough terrain to bustling high streets.
Choose a buggy that has large rear wheels, as well as a lockable wheel on the front. This makes it easier to drive and less likely to fall apart when you're on bumpy roads. These all-terrain buggies also have pneumatic tires that are ideal for handling non-paved surfaces. They can be used even on sandy beaches and tracks through woodlands.
They're also great buggies to jog with as they provide excellent stability in rough terrain and can help you stay with your running companion. They're also excellent at going up and down steep kerbs too Most buggies come with a suspension built in that means your baby will be able to ride comfortably.
A stroller with three wheels isn't easy to maneuver due to its large frame. It is more difficult to get through doorways and narrow spaces than a 4-wheeler. Some manufacturers have solved this issue with clever design that flips the wheels upwards when they are not being used. This reduces their size and makes it easier to squeeze through doorways.
You'll also need to consider whether the buggy you choose to use is suitable for your child from birth or if you're planning on using it in conjunction with an infant car seat or carry cot. If so, make sure it has the ability to lie flat and if the design is compatible with other seats and buggy boards (if you want to add an infant onboard). A lot of 3-wheelers fold flat, and later be placed upright. This is a good option for those with a small boot space or have limited storage at home. Some will require you to take out the front wheel before folding in order to fit in even more compact space.
Manoeuvrability
Three-wheeled buggies are more movable than four-wheeled strollers. Many of them have a swivelling wheel on the front, which allows you to steer and change direction using just one hand. Some also come with a lockable front wheel which can give you the stability you need on rough terrain. Some models can even be used with an additional seat or buggy board if you're looking to grow your family.
If you're thinking of taking your three-wheeled bike off the tracks that are paved, it's worth opting for a vehicle that has tyres with air in them (also known as pneumatic tyres) that can withstand the most difficult terrain. These tyres may need to be pumped up from time to the point, but they will be more durable and puncture-proof than solid tyres. You should look for one with an swiveling front wheel that can be locked to help you navigate tricky surfaces.
When folded, three-wheelers can be heavier than four-wheeled buggies due to the single wheel in front. Check to see if the model you're considering fits in the boot of your car and is able to be sat up in the event that it is necessary. Some models can fold with one hand and stand on their own when they're collapsed, which can save space in smaller car boots.
A quality 3 wheel pushchair is able to cope with all terrains, from busy high streets to woodland tracks. It's important to think about what you'll be using it for every day. If you'll be doing the school run, it must be able to cope with steep slopes and kerbs. If you'll be running with it, check that it has an adjustable swivelling'stretch' lockable front wheel to ensure that the ride is steady.
Kath who is an MFM reviewer, discovered that her stroller on three wheels was able to handle both urban and rural walks. She noted that it could navigate rocky paths, cobbles and bumpy pavements easily and felt pleasant to jog with. It's also a great choice for day trips, since it offers plenty of storage space, including a huge ample basket with a zip-top cover and an expandable 50+ UV hood. It can be modified to fit a baby's needs from birth, with an infant carry cot or a lie-flat seat. It is also compatible with the most popular stroller seats and second seats.
Fabric Sling Seat
The main difference between a fabric seat and a modular seat is the fabric sling. It sits inside the buggy frame, instead of being placed on top of it like the modular chair. This allows for a more ergonomically-correct position for baby that instantly gives an lower centre of gravity at the right height. This leads to a more comfortable push, a less hefty curb-pop (you don't have to exert as much effort and weight to lift the buggy off the curb) and improved balance and stability.
These buggy seats also feature Sling fabrics that are simple to clean and durable. They were designed specifically with sling chair applications in mind they are UV-resistant and breathable. They also have excellent durability and are easy to clean with water and soap.
If you're a jogger, or like to do some off-roading, an all terrain 3 wheeler will be more your bag than a buggy with four wheels. These models tend to have a wider base, more stable and use air-filled tyres to allow for smooth and agile moving on uneven ground.

Modular Seat
Modular seating allows for many different configurations to meet various seating requirements. Modular seating can be easily adjusted to create a cozy place to watch films, or an open layout for entertaining guests. Many modular seating systems come with removable cushion covers which make it easier to wash spills and stain.
Modular Seating can be designed to blend with existing decor or be a standout as an accent piece. You can pick from a variety of fabrics, colors, and shapes to create an elegant and modular seating design that fits your style. Modular seating comes with many practical features, like hidden storage compartments for easy storage.
3-wheel buggies are particularly good for off-road and all-terrain adventures because they offer more stability than 4-wheel strollers. The large front wheel that is extremely maneuverable allows for smooth and quick movement. The tyres, which are typically air-filled and come with suspension, provide an excellent ride on even the most rough trails and roads. They are also ideal for walking up hills as the wheels aren't as close ground as they are on 4 wheel pushchairs.

Often 3-wheel prams are a favorite for parents who love running and jogging with their child as they offer great mobility and are much more sleek than their 4 wheel counterparts. The GB Upp XL for example has a sleek burnished silver aluminum frame, which has a quick one-hand fold and forward and rear facing seats. The Babyzen Yoyo has an all black frame, a carrycot that has a fully lie-flat position, air-filled tyres and three recline positions.

This is a buggy that will truly protect your wallet from the future and can be used from the moment you are born with the carrycot all the way to toddlerhood with the modular seat (and beyond!). It all fits within the footprint of a single buggy.
